It hasn't been that long, I'll give him a little more time before storming the jungles myself to look for him. When my dad decided to disappear, he really disappeared. My uncle told me not to worry about him being found, but he bloody well wasn't kidding. He wasn't even using magical ways of disappearing either, figured it would be safer to just go the Muggle route, and he's just gone from the face of the earth. Completely. Haven't heard a word from him in six months, been trying to reach him all week.

Uncle Jesse said he's got "connections," which is how he was able to just evaporate like that. Why does my dad have these connections? Can I horn in on some of these connections too? 'Cause I got a couple things I'd love to get straightened out.

Never mind. Maybe I shouldn't be asking these questions if I want to keep these connections. Or even talking about them.
